Recently we've been doing lots of art linked with our IPC topic 'Structures'. In these
photos you can see us using a scraping technique to make the shapes for a
cityscape. Once these painted backgrounds are dry we will add
detail (doors, windows, ladders, aerials) with black felt pens. Watch this
space for pictures of our finished work.

IST and DST Easter activities
Today Y2 have been working with the class 1 in DST. Children from IST worked with children from DST to design a pattern for an Easter Egg. Next week we will meet again to use these designs to make a collage.

Alec Williams visits Y2!
On Monday Alec worked with Year 2 teaching us lots of stories and sharing some very funny poems with us. He also gave us some tricky riddles to solve. We went away and tried to remember and learn the story called 'Monkey see, monkey do'. Working as a team helped us to remember all the different events in the story so we could retell it in our own words.

Sock puppets
Mr Gregg went into the Year 2 classes during wet play and saw what brilliant sock puppets all the children had been making!
